2023 Parking Portal for Permits is now open.
Permits are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Inventory is limited to the number of parking spaces on campus.
PLEASE BE AWARE OF WHICH PERMIT CONFIGURATION YOU SELECT. Semester and year-long permits are available.
Please note: According to the current Oglethorpe University Academic Bulletin section -
3.4.4 Ongoing Requirement for Students to Report on Disciplinary and Criminal
Disclosure of disciplinary and criminal history is required on the Oglethorpe University admission application (see Sec. 4.) Oglethorpe applicants, accepted students and current students have an ongoing, continuing duty to report additional disciplinary and criminal events that occur after submission of their admission application. The disciplinary and criminal events that must be reported under this requirement are described below. Reports must be made to the dean of students within three business days of the occurrence of the event. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in sanctions up to and including immediate forced withdrawal from the University (for current students), revocation of admission (for accepted students) and denial of admission (for applicants).
Events which must be reported:
- Having been found guilty of any violation of a federal, state or municipal law, regulation or ordinance (other than minor traffic violations) including offenses for which any type of first offender status has been granted, or
- Having entered a plea of guilty, no contest, nolo contendere, or an Alford plea, or having otherwise accepted responsibility for the commission of a crime, or
- Having been charged with, or having been found guilty/liable of, any violation of academic honesty, honor code, or conduct regulations (be they academic or non-academic in nature) at any other post-secondary institution (college or university), or
- Receiving any type of discharge from military service other than an honorable discharge.
Please be Prepared to Provide the Following Information:
Vehicle Make, Model, Year and Color
Vehicle License Plate Number
Registered Owner, Owner's Phone Number and Relationship to Driver
Insurance Company Name
Please omit any leading zeros when entering your ID - only use the last six digits listed on your PetrelPass
You will have the option of paying by Cash, Check, or with Debit/Credit Cards displaying a
VISA, Mastercard, or Discover logo.
Note: Credit Card payments are processed immediately, which guarantees you a permit. Cash and Check payments are not processed until received in the Business office located in Lupton, and receiving a permit depends on available inventory at the time of payment.
