Student Driving and Parking
THERE IS ONLY 1 OPTION FOR PURCHASING 2022-2023 PERMITS:
1. FULL YEAR ($100)
PURCHASES NOT AVAILABLE UNTIL 7/18/2022
~ Daily parking* ($3/day) is the only parking permit option
currently available for students, which can be purchased in the
North and South Deans' Office, 7:30a - 9a.
Students with a 1st period class can pay for daily parking the day before the intended date of driving.
Students can also purchase daily or weekly permits the Friday before the coming week of intended driving.
Students can purchase up to 5 days of parking at a time.
*Daily parking payments are nonrefundable
you must complete your parking permit application and payment process online! payments for parking permits are no longer accepted at the campus store.
Student parking is made available by regulations established through the Dean’s office. No vehicle may be parked on campus without a valid parking permit. Violators will be towed and/or ticketed.
Criteria for issuing year long parking permits
Ø 2022-2023 Permits will be available to 11th and 12th grade students on a first come, first serve basis. 12th grade students get first priority starting July 18, 2022 and 11th grade students will be able to purchase parking permits starting AUGUST 8, 2022.
Ø At the start of the SECOND quarter, 10th grade students will be able to purchase a parking permit through the South Deans' office only IF there are some still available.
Ø Year long permits are $100.00 a year; students MUST PURCHASE PARKING PERMITS ONLINE WITH A VALID DEBIT/CREDIT CARD; THERE ARE NO CASH OR CHECK OPTIONS.
Ø 2022-23 Permits will begin being mailed out to you ON OR AFTER August 9, 2022; permits will not be mailed before that time.
Criteria for issuing daily permits
Ø Daily permits are issued to 11th and 12th grade students who need to park on H-F property temporarily.
Ø Daily permits are $3.00 a day.
Ø To obtain a daily parking permit students need to register their car in the South & North Dean’s Office between 7:30-9:00 AM the day they drive to school (or the day or week before - see information above). Students must have the following information available in order to register their vehicle:
o Car Make, Model, Color, and License Plate #
Please note – no permits will be issued to students with chronic attendance problems or severe disciplinary problems. Students found leaving campus or driving to/from North/South buildings during the school day will lose parking privileges.
Ø Chronic attendance problems are defined as having more than 8 excused or unexcused absences for two consecutive semesters or for having more than 3 unexcused absences for two consecutive semesters.
Ø Severe disciplinary problems are defined as accumulating 50 or more demerits for two consecutive school years.
