View, Pay or Appeal Citations
Please consider the following before submitting an appeal. Appeals citing any of the reasons below, will be rejected
-
-
Citations can be appealed online within 10 days of issue, the day the citation is written counts as one day.
-
I understand that I must demonstrate that there was an exceptional circumstance beyond my control for which I was issued a citation or that the citation was issued in error by the Officer.
-
I understand that if I do not meet the requirements and/or if my appeal is denied that I will remain responsible for the fine(s).
-
I understand that a collection letter will be mailed to the address for which the vehicle is registered for payment of citation, if citation is not paid.
-
I understand that I must submit all relevant information I wish to be considered for an approved appeal.
-
I understand that being unaware of Tri-County Technical College parking policies will not be considered as acceptable justification to grant an appeal as parking regulations can be found on the website under Campus Police and in the College Catalog.
-
I understand that photo documentation is attached to each citation issued.
-
I understand that all previous citation violations will be considered before an appeal decision is made.
-
i understand that only one appeal for the same violation will be approved.
-
I understand that being late for class or an appointment will not be considered as acceptable justification to grant an appeal and the appeal will be automatically denied.
-
I understand that not having time to come to obtain a temporary (issued only to students that have paid for a current permit) or permanent permit will not be considered as acceptable justification to grant an appeal and will automatically denied.
-
I understand that being told by someone other than Campus Police and or Parking Enforcement Officers where I may or may not park or whether a permit is or is not needed will not be considered as acceptable justification to grant an appeal and will automatically denied.
-
I understand that being unable to afford to pay the ticket will not be considered as acceptable justification to grant an appeal and will automatically be denied.
-
I understand that if I appeal a citation and pay the fine before the appeal process is complete, there will be no refunds to my account (because the citation software is handled through a third party vendor), even if the appeal was approved. All decisions are final and refunds cannot be given.
-
I understand I cannot register for classes, obtain transcriptions or graduate until all citations have been paid.
